Meet Terry Q. O'Brien

Dr. Terry Q. O’Brien earned a doctorate in Leadership Administration in 2005 and has devoted his career to exploring the rich intersections of history, imagination, and human experience. A gifted storyteller, he brings the past vividly to life through layered narratives grounded in careful research and elevated by creative insight.

He is the author of The Quest for the Lost Amber Room, a young adult historical science fiction adventure centered on the Nazi-stolen Russian Amber Room and the ill-fated R.M.S. Titanic. Blending suspenseful storytelling with historically grounded settings, the novel invites readers to discover enduring echoes of history.

Dr. O’Brien also wrote Fragments of Word and Wonder: A Collection of Tales, Poems, and Childhood Magic, a diverse and imaginative volume featuring short stories, poetry, and an early preface to his forthcoming work, Rudolf Höss: A Liar’s Journey Through Darkness.
